Happy early birthday Hudson and Jaxon!

I decided that I wanted to get the boys bikes for their birthdays but thought that if I waited to give them to them on their birthdays, they wouldn't have any time before it gets cold to ride them. So we gave them an early birthday present. It was so fun to see Jaxon helping Jeff put his together, then the next day when he was riding it he kept getting the tools out and taking all the bolts off. We will be lucky if it stays together. Jaxon says that I spoil them... but isn't that what Grandma's are for? Anyway, we left them here because of all the hills at their house and I have had to go out and ride them every day when they come over. I guess I didn't think about that!! Oh well, Happy early birthday boys, we love you!!

Who knew there were waterfalls at Ophir?

We went out to the cabin in Ophir last week and Jeff and the kids went hiking. (I had to stay and watch the boys!!) Jeff had seen these waterfalls last year when he was hunting and he wanted to get a closer look. I couldn't believe that they were so big. I love being out at Ophir, it really makes me feel closer not only to my family who are here with me, but to my ancestors who sacrificed so much so that I could enjoy the beauty out there. They all had a great time hiking, I'm glad that they like to hike with their dad so that I don't have to!!

Letter from Jonny

This letter was so good and I just thought that you might like to see how much Jonny has grown while on his mission. Still no punctuation or capitals, but I love how you can feel his spirit through his letters.
hey whats going on? well i hope everything is going good im sure it is from what i have heard from everyone everything is tranquilo haha. but things are going pretty good here we are hopeing for a baptism this week im pretty sure it will happen so we will just have to see what happens. im sure it will be great and the lord will do is part as we do ours. but yesterday i learned some things that are really interesting that i would like to share with yall. so elder ellis of the 70ty talked at the stake confrence here it was really good he said somthing like this. that heavenly father has a plan for everything including. family home evening, daily prayer, reading the scriptures regularly, 10% of what we make for tithing and more things but satan has his plan and the world has its plan and we have our plan he said the lords plan are all of those things listed above but what happins alot is that we think oh i dont have time to study, no one is home at the same time, im to lazy, i dont need to i already know everything. and more. but we need to always be on the lords side, so that means we always need to follow his plan and not the others he said if we do that we will be alot more blessed that we need to follow it with exactness we need to be like the stripling worriers and be obedient to the comands of our sargent which is the lord that talks to us through the prophets that we have today. im so greatful for that talk and how it helped me i know we hear the same things over and over but if we would just practise them we wouldnt have to hear them over and over. i hope you all know that i know that the lord talks to his prophets and his prophets tell us what the lord wants us to do and what we need to do to be prepaired to return to the presence of the lord there is a scripture that says we need to have a better knowledge of things so that we can be prepaired to come to the presence of the lord i know you all are doing the things you are supposed to and i know you all do all these things already but i just wanted to share with you what i learned. one other thing that our mission president told the stake was that if they help the missionarys not only they will be blessed but their familys. i know their is not very many missionarys in our area but try to help them and look for people that you guys can find for them to teach ok. sorry this wasnt that much about me i just thought it would be important to share with you all just so you all know im doing great im kinda sad that my time here in this area is getting alittle short i think any way ahah but what can ya do right the lord will put me in the right spot im sure. anyway i better get going thanks for all you guys do for me and all your love and support i love ya and miss ya tons hope you have a great week talk to ya then.
love elder warner

Getting away to Fairview

So, the kids have been hassling me about not posting for so long, so sorry about all of the posts but I am in Seattle with Jeff and have a little time so I'm catching up. We went down to Fairview last week and just spent a couple of days there. It was so beautiful. The flowers were everywhere!! I couldn't believe that it was August and there was still so much snow there. But here are a few pictures of our favorite thing to do!! Spending time with my BEST FRIEND!!

Boating with the kids

So Jaxon is officially the youngest wakeboarder in our family!! He has always been afraid of the water until the last month and now every time we stop the boat, he wants to get out. So last week when we went boating Brittany asked if he wanted to wakeboard thinking that he would say "no". Well, he said "yes", so she put him on the board with her and he loved it! They did so good, Brittany didn't even hardly get him wet. They went forever until Brittany couldn't go any longer. She Said it was way hard to keep him up. The only bad thing is that Aimee and Josh weren't there to see. Josh came later and he put him on with him too and he still loved it. We are still working on getting Hudson to like getting in the water. We are loving being Grandparents... It is the best!

Where did July Go???

I can't believe that July is over. I don't know where it disappeared to. Most of the cute grandkid pictures are on Aimee and Nichole's blogs but we have done some fun things. On the 24th me, Nichole, Aimee and the boys went out to Cedar Fort to the parade. Peggy let the boys ride on the float that they made and they had a great time. I think that they ate more candy than they threw! Then we went over to Kyler and Stephanie's and had a barbecue. The kids had a ball with their cousins on the water slides and it was good to see everyone. The parade brought back a lot of memories for me. When I was younger, we never missed a year going out to Grandma and Grandpa Ault's for the celebration in Cedar Fort. It was something that I looked forward to all year. We would decorate our bikes all up with crepe paper and we thought that they looked so cool. Then there was the rodeo and the dance. I have a lot of really great memories. But in the parade this year there was something that really sparked my memories. It was just a truck pulling a sheep camp with some horses in the back of the truck, but it really took me back to my Grandpa Ault. He always hauled his horses in the back of the truck like that and it was so funny to watch him load them. He would holler and curse at them until they would jump in. He was such a good Grandpa. Even though he could curse like crazy.... he had such a tender heart when it came to his grandkids. He always had candy (pink mints) in his truck for us and I can always see his smile. This picture of him is my favorite because it is how I really remember him. We also went to the Tabernacle Choir and Osmond 24th Celebration. As they sang "Come, Come Ye Saints" I couldn't help but be so grateful for all of my ancestors that sacrificed so much for me so that I have everything that I have. I don't know if I would have been able to give up what they did. I hope that I can live my life to show them how grateful I am for their sacrifice so that I could have the gospel in my family's life.

Mexico and Grand Canyon

Mom and I went down to Mexico to pick up Ricardo and Rene's girls to come and stay with us for a few weeks. I was kind of a long drive for such a short stay but the weather at the house was awesome. It was nice to get away just with Mom and a nice break to just sit on the beach for two days. It was nice to see Ricardo's family again. They are such nice people. On the way home we stopped at Grand Canyon so the girls could see it. It is a pretty amazing place!
