Beautiful Mountains!
The other day we had to go up to Timberlakes to check on the cabin when it was so cold. We weren't sure that the furnace was on. We got up early(anyone who knows me, knows that I hate mornings!!) but I have to say it was well worth the trip! It was beautiful! We decided that we had time to drive around the Loop (before Jeff had to be to work) and realized that we don't take advantage of the beauty that is all around us. It was the morning that it snowed and it was really cold, but that just added to the beauty with the snow and fall colors. So if you haven't been out to see the fall colors, get out and enjoy them before they are gone!
September Birthdays
Happy Birthday Gramps!
The September Boys!
April and September are our big birthday months. So we usually have a big birthday dinner for everyone in September. Skyler was suppose to be born in Oct but she wanted to be a part of the September birthdays. For Jeff's birthday last year, the kids gave Jeff a flight in an airplane and he finally got around to using it! He loved it! I went and took the boys with me and they ended up loving it too. We had to take pictures of everyone of the airplanes and them sitting in the gyro plane. Jaxon now wants an airplane to put together! Late Happy Birthday to all of you!

Skyler Jo Burdett
She's here!! We are so excited to have our second little granddaughter. She was about nine days early (which Nichole didn't mind), but she is here and doing great. Skyler weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 18 inches long. We think that she is a doll, but we are her grandparents! She has black hair and chubby checks (a Warner trait!!). I don't think that there is anything like having a little one be born and feeling that spirit straight from heaven. It really makes you realize what a miracle it is. We are so excited for Nichole and Cody and know that this little spirit will bless their lives.

Brittany & Kolten at the Temple
Things have finally slowed down for us!! I know that some of you have wanted me to post pictures of the weddings. We had a ton, so Nichole has been working hard to edit them all. I guess that is the perk of having your daughter be the photographer, Thanks so much Nichole for all your work this summer. Also, thanks to all of our family, we couldn't have done it without all of you! I had too many to put all of them on one slide show, so the reception will follow. She is still working on Jonny and Robyns, so as soon as I get them I will put them on.

George Strait
For my birthday, some of my kids gave me tickets to George Strait. I was a little stressed out going because I had so much to do, but I have always loved his concerts, so Jeff and I went. It was at the Ussana Ampitheather and we have never been there. The traffic was crazy!! It took us two hours to get there and by the time we got there I was wondering why we went. We missed Julie Ann Hough, but got there for Blake Shelton. He was good but George was awesome!! It was just what I needed to calm me down and relax me. We had great seats, and it was a beautiful night. This picture is from Brett who didn't have great seats but somehow ended up on the front row!! I just haven't figured out how he always does that. Anyway, thanks again girls for knowing what I needed! It was a great night out!
Brittany & Kolten's Wedding
I think that our lives are just suppose to be crazy!! I keep thinking that things will slow down, but just when I think that, something else comes up. Oh well, at least they are good things that are happening to us. Most of you know that Brittany and Jonny are both getting married in the next month. It has been a little stressful, but fun planning the wedding. I'm grateful for good kids who help so much, I couldn't have done it without all of them. But for any of you who know how hard it is to do invitations... and for those of you who haven't done them, you will find out how hard it is,if we have missed any of you, we are sorry. We would love to see you so feel free to come anyway. I love Brittany's invitation, Nichole did it and all of her pictures. She is awesome and I am so grateful to her for doing it and saving us a ton of money. Thanks to all of my girls and their husbands, (that includes Brea, Stacey and Robyn cause you are my girls too!) Now if we can just get Mom and Dad's yard done!!

He's finally home!!!
I can hardly believe that Jonny is finally home!! It has been a long two years but I am so grateful for all that he has learned and all that we have all been blessed with. I know that the things that he has learned he will use the rest of his life. Thanks for all of your support of him and our family.
Trip to Brazil
What an amazing trip we had!! We went to Brazil to pick Jonny up and had an awesome time. It was a long flight (about 30 hours one way with lay-overs!!) but well worth the trip. Before we picked up Jonny we went to Rio and Iguazu Falls. They were unbelievable and we had a great time. Then we picked Jonny up. I can't begin to explain how good it was to finally see him. Then we spent the next five days going to meet some of the people that he had met over the past two years. It was so great to see how much he loved the people and how much they loved him. When he started testifying of the gospel, we didn't need to know what he was saying because we could feel the spirit so strong we didn't need to know what the words were. Then the last day we spent with his mission President and his wife in the Porto Alegre Temple and at their home for dinner and a testimony meeting. We loved seeing the sites in Brazil but the best part of the trip was definitely meeting the people there and feeling of their love for Jonny and for the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are so strong and were such an example to me. It made me want to be better. It was a trip that we will never forget!
