Laying Sod & Horse Show

On Wed. we went up to watch Courtney and Collin at the State Finals cutting. The kids had a blast watching and then they got to ride the horses too. I'm glad I had Britt there to help me chase them down, but they loved it.

Ryan had some sod left over tonight, so he brought it over to fill in the holes in our front yard. Jaxon was quite the helper and asked Ryan if he could work for him. It sure brought back a lot of memories of when our kids were little and we would take them to help us on jobs. Thanks you guys for doing that for Dad, I know he will love having it done.

Happy Father's Day!

These were so cute, I had to post them. As you can tell, riding the lawnmower with Grandpa is a favorite activity at our house. If they are in the house and hear the lawnmower start up they run to the door. Jeff is the greatest Grandpa,Father and Husband anyone could ever have. Happy Father's Day!! We love you!

Jonny update

I realized that I haven't updated Jonny for awhile so I thought that I would let you all know how he is doing. He loves his mission and is so happy there. It was great to talk to him on Mother's Day but it was way too short. I could have talked to him all day. The people in Brazil are very receptive to the gospel and he has been very blessed. He has met so many people that he has loved. All of his companions except the first one have been Brazilian and he has grown to love them. Right now he is a Zone Leader in a town called Pelotas. It is in the South end of his mission. He said that they went almost to Uruguay the other day. He has grown so much and we are so proud of him and how is serving the Lord.

Our Lake Powell Trip

We spent the whole week at Lake Powell and had a great time. All of us but Jonny were there, which was kind of hard for me. But I know that he is where he needs to be right now and I know that he will be here next year. We took over 800 pictures of everyone, so it was hard to pick just a few because I think that my kids and grandkids are the best.

Helping Grandpa put in the Grey water!

I don't know who had more fun... Grandpa or the boys. Maybe it's a good thing that he had the boys to play with!!

Thanks to my awesome girls!

The girls surprised me for my birthday and took me to Good Things Utah. It was so fun. They wouldn't tell me where we were going, they just told me to drive towards the airport and turn here and turn there. We really had a great day! Thanks for being awesome daughters!

Fun day with the Grandkids!

Grandpa loves playing with the Grandkids and they can't wait to play with him when he has a day off.

Great Trip to Mexico

Jeff and I spent a week in Mexico last week. It was great to get away and just relax and not worry about anything. The weather was beautiful, just perfect. Jeff spent the week putting together a puzzle that has been sitting on the table since January and I spent the week soaking up the sun. (Since we hadn't seen any of that here.) Now it's back to reality.

Happy Aniversary to my Best Friend!!

I can't believe that we have been married for 29 years!! What a great 29 years it has been. Jeff is truely my best friend and I couldn't be happier or want more in life right now. He is so good to me and I love him more every day. We have shared so much and have so many great memories. I hope that we will have at least another 29 years together but I am so grateful for the knowledge that we will be together for eternity!

In memory of a Great Friend

It has been a while since I updated anything because our family had a pretty hard few weeks. We lost a great friend, not only to our kids and grand kids, but us. Ryan Cox got in an accident at the sand dunes and died. It has been one of the hardest things for our family to go through. He was an awesome person. If you ever met him, your were instantly his friend. He never judged anyone and was a friend to everyone. Him and his sweet wife, Katie have been friends to our kids for a long time and we have spent many fun times with them. It seems like when we lose someone close to us, it makes us stop and think about where we are in our lives. I hope that we can all look to Ryan and live our lives like he did and try to be more kind and Christlike to everyone. Our thoughts and prayers have been with his family, Stacey, Katie, Asha, Sage and Zaya and everyone else who was influenced by Ryan.

You will be missed by everyone, Ryan! We Love you!
