Baby Brighton is here
At 5:30 Saturday morning we got a call from Brett saying Stacey's water had broken. We were leaving to go home from Lake Powell that day so we started packing up thinking that we would just see the baby when we got home. She was either being stuborn like her Dad was or she was waiting for me to get home:) She wasn't born until 11:45 that night. Especially long day for Stacey since she had worked a 12 hour grave shift at the ER. But she is here and she is beautiful, of course I am the Grandma!! She weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She already has her Dad wrapped around her finger.
Lake Powell
We had a great time at Lake Powell this year. We felt bad that Brett and Stacey couldn't be there but I don't think I would have liked to deliver Brighton on the Lake. She cooperated and waited until 15 minutes after we got home to be born. We went to Rainbow Bridge and the weather was great all week. We only had one wind storm that had us nervous for a few minutes. We camped in the most beautiful spot again this year. I think that we have been spoiled the last two years. Hopefully we can camp there every year. The kids had a blast! It is so fun to watch them playing with each other. Lots of great family memories were made.

Stacey's Shower
We came home from Mexico and two days later had a baby shower for Stacey. It was kind of crazy but it turned out so cute I had to share pictures. Thanks to all of you who always support us and share your love. Thanks to my girls who always have cute ideas and make it happen. And yes, the girls made all of the cute cakes, food and decorations. You guys are awesome. Love you all!
Mexico
We had the chance to go to Mexico last week. We didn't really know who would end up going with us, but Ryan, Brea, Kaelan, Taylee, Jonny, Robyn, Brittany, Kolten, Grandma and Grandpa and Me and Jeff ended up going. We had a great time! The weather was beautiful the whole time! The kids loved the beach and didn't ever want to leave. We love it down there and we had a chance to take some things down and share with the people there. It was a great time and it is always hard to come back to reality. I'm so grateful that we have a beautiful place to go and get away.

North Carolina
Last month we went to North Carolina to celebrate Jeff's Grandma's 100th Birthday. We had a great time getting to know Grandma a little better. All of the kids went except Stacey who couldn't miss work. Grandma loved all of the attention. We had a fun day at the beach, but it wasn't very warm. Then we just had fun spending time together. It was good for us to see what a great influence Grandma has had on the ward there. She has really made a big difference in a lot of people's lives. She has seen a lot of things in her lifetime. What a great accomplishment to make it to 100 years old! We love you Grandma!
